About Coach Andrew Toprak
My name is Andrew Toprak. I’m a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional at El Dorado Park Tennis Center in Long Beach, California.
I’ve played tennis internationally for about 20 years, and I’ve been teaching in the United States for 25+ years. I love working with players who want to get better and enjoy the game.
I offer private lessons for kids and adults at every level. I also run higher-level evening live-ball clinics at El Dorado, mostly for NTRP 4.0 and up (with one weekly 3.5/4.0 mix). Clinics are live ball with drills and fast 2-on-2. No match play and no serving in clinic.
I grew up in Ankara, Turkey. I started tennis at 8 and won multiple Turkish championships between ages 8 and 18. I represented Turkey on the national team for many years, then moved to the US at 18. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (Magna Cum Laude) from California State University, Long Beach. I am a dual citizen of the United States and Turkey.

Coach Andrew keeps lessons clear and practical. Private lessons build the skills you need at your pace. Live-ball clinics gives you high-rep practice and builds your fitness, while sharpening your court positioning and shot selection through fun, skill-specific drills.
