What do you do in a typical tennis lesson?

What skills will we be working on?

In a typical lesson, I stand on the other side of the court with a basket full of balls and feed you balls specifically to a target area over and over again. This improves your stroke and builds muscle memory for that shot. I provide verbal advice as you are hitting the balls. If you have a bad habit, this is the best way to fix the problem! I most-likely already know your tennis level because we've met at El Dorado Park (where I currently teach) and I have an idea of what you need to improve on. If we haven't met yet, I will hit with you for about two minutes in the beginning and tell you what we should be working on. Please check out the video below with one of my students as an example.

How do I get started?

If you have questions, e-mail me at ToprakTennis@gmail.com and we can discuss your needs, answer your questions and set up a lesson. You can also call me at (562) 260-2010. However, I prefer e-mail as I'm on the court teaching most of the day and is harder to answer/return calls.

Where do you teach at?

I'm currently teaching at El Dorado Park Tennis Center. It is located at 2800 Studebaker Road, Long Beach, CA 90815.

What are the hours for tennis lessons?

I will teach as early as 7 A.M. through 9 P.M. everyday of the week. Please keep in mind that I have a busy schedule so we will have to find a time slot that works for both of us.
